Spray paint is one of the fastest ways I know of to transform something old and boring into something new and exciting. So I wanted to share one of my recently refreshed projects, painting a Luxo desk lamp!

We've been redoing our stairs for what feels like a year now. The stairs were decent looking with that sort of shabby chic look, but thats not really our style. So for us, they needed some more work, specifically a lot of sanding and staining. Oh and of course a few liberal coats of polyurethane.

We update the front walkway and entrance garden area to our house. We bring life to it with new bushes, and level out our slate by removing a massive root.

We learned the hard way that copperhead snakes really love ivy, and one of our dogs was really curious about snakes. All is well though, and now we know a little more about snake safety.
