Like many other people right now, I am loving succulents. I love how easy they are to keep alive and how sculptural they are in appearance. So I decided to carry this new love of mine into making some DIY coasters.
On Sunday, I woke up feeling incredibly motivated and decided to take a stab at making some of our kitchen shelving look useful and beautiful. This is a side of our kitchen that has never been posted on this blog since until now. Hey, everyone has their good and bad sides for pictures right? Our kitchen was no different.
Last week, I started to get my craft on again by making a necklace organizer for the bedroom. I continued the craftiness this week with by taking some washi tape and a whiteboard, and making it into a weekly calendar.

Until recently, this wall in our living room had only been housing a lonely Yellena James print. It was a gift from John and I love it, but it didn't quite fill the space in the way we wanted. The first time we took a tour of what is now our house, it was unoccupied. The former owners paid to have it staged with furniture that was not so much our taste. Of course we knew we weren’t buying the furniture, so it didn’t really matter.
