It's official, we have finally been home owners for a whole year and we couldn't be more happy with our decision! We made it through all of our projects without killing each other, and the house is still standing. The inside is finally feeling like our home. We still have so much to do, and we like it that way. We wouldn't want to finish all the projects in one year. What would be the fun in that?
The living room is a constant dance of furniture and decorative elements. We change it constantly in attempt to strike a balance between modern and comfortable. We think it's getting close to pretty nice. What do you think?
We have discussed the paint color in our house before, and how it really just isn’t our jam. I am beginning to think we look crazy. In every photo we take it never looks “purplish” or “pinky” like we claim. But we promise, it really does, or it did. So here is where we left off. The only obstacles in our way were the mirror and leftover sink frame. It all seemed easy enough. Pop off the mirror, remove the little wooden chunks, go out and dance the night away in celebration of our swift success. I wish this was the story I could honestly tell. What actually happened was far more frustrating and dance-less.
